With reference to your despatch of yesterday's date, I have the honour to enclose herewith for the information of His Excellency the Governor, a paper which I have good reason to believe is a correct resume of the evidence given by Chih Ching Yu and referred to in the Acting Viceroy's despatch of 23rd November.
